He's living his childhood dream of building complex software while making a positive impact on the community.

Chris is the CMO at Pulsar Publishing, joining the team in March 2023. With over a decade of experience, he has led marketing departments for ecommerce brands and non-profits, combining strategic vision with hands-on execution. At Pulsar, Chris drives business growth, launches new brands, and oversees both backend marketing and day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and consistency across all initiatives. Known for his data-driven approach and creative problem-solving, he builds high-performing teams and scalable processes that strengthen brand presence and impact.

Reuben is the Head of Acquisition at Pulsar Publishing, where he leads strategies to drive growth and expand the company’s reach. With over a decade of experience, he blends a deep marketing background with an entrepreneurial mindset, having scaled and successfully exited his own businesses in New Zealand. Reuben thrives on tackling growth challenges—balancing vision with execution and keeping innovation at the core. At Pulsar, he focuses on building smart acquisition systems, guiding teams, and turning bold ideas into lasting results, all while keeping the culture dynamic and forward-looking.
Outside of work, Reuben enjoys snowboarding in the winter and hiking in the summer.

Nelio Lucas is a senior software engineer with over 10 years of experience, specializing in mobile app development. At Pulsar, he leads the development of Section 8 Search mobile app, one of the company’s flagship applications, playing a role in shaping its strategy and long-term growth. At Pulsar, Vanessa also manages internal processes, handles administrative requests such as leave and sick day tracking, and supports calendar coordination. She manages onboarding and offboarding for team members and monitors welcome flows to ensure email links function seamlessly, contributing to efficiency and operational excellence across the company.
